Service Description

Try out both wheel throwing and hand building in our fun, informal introduction to pottery. During your 90 minute session you will be given basic instruction on throwing a simple pot before spending time on a pottery wheel having fun. You will also have time to try out hand building with clay to create a pinch pot or small sculpture. After your session we will dry then fire your best 2 pieces before you are invited back to glaze them about 4 weeks later. The cost includes clay, use of wheel, use of hand building tools, firing & glazing of 2 pieces. If you wish to have more than 2 pieces fired these will incur a charge of £5 per piece. Please wear old clothing. PLEASE NOTE - When booking the drop down menu for number of participants will show the number of places still available on that session.
