Come along to our studio on Bedlington Front Street to take part in this fabulous Enchanted Shoe / Altered Boot workshop.
Simply bring along an old shoe or ankle boot (or pick a one up from a charity shop) and our fully qualified tutor and mixed media artist, Wendy, will show you how to transform it into a truly unique planter or ornament..
You will not only use a fabric scultping medium to stiffen & sculpt fabric onto your shoe but you will be shown how to create an air drying clay. You will then use this to mold embellishments to add to your creation.
Your tutor will then teach you how to create a colour wash & to use a dry brushing technique to add metallic detail to your very own work of art.
The class will begin at 10.30 am and last until approx 3.30pm with a break for lunch.
Tea and coffee are provided but please bring your own packed lunch.

During this class we will use a water-based, environmentally friendly and non-toxic product. It washes off skin with soap and water but will damage clothing so we recommend wearing old clothes for our workshps.
Our workshops are taught by a fully qualified and experinced teacher.
This workshop is suitable for ages 14+.
Please note that under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.Payment in full is required to reserve a place on our workshop.
Refunds will be made where a place is cancelled more than 7 days in advance of the workshop.
Where workshops are cancelled with less than 7 days notice we are unable to offer a refund payments but may be able to offer you an alternative workshop or date.
