Have you ever wondered how to create your own figures to use in your fabric sculpting projects?
During this class you will be taught how to create a basic armature (wire frame figure) which can be used as a base for fabric sculpting and clay projects.
Once you have created your armature you will 'dress' and colour your figure using fabric sculpting techniques before adding your figure to your own base.
Please note, bases are not provided for this project so please bring along your own. Ideas for bases inbclude a hardbacked book. a terracotta plant pot or a wooden photo / picture frame. If you have an idea for a base but aren't sure it will work just get in touch.
The class will begin at 10:30am and last 2-3 hours. Tea/coffee will be provided.
This class is aimed at student who have at least a basic knowledge of using fabric sculpting medium and varnish/pigment colouring techiques.

Create a Figure Saturday 7th March
As part of this class we will be using Powertex Universal Medium.
Powertex is a water-based, environmentally friendly and non-toxic product. It washes off skin with soap and water but will damage clothing so we recommend wearing old clothes for our workshps.
Our workshops are taught by a fully qualified and experinced teacher.
This workshop is suitable for ages 14+.
Please note that under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
Payment in full is required to reserve a place on our workshop.
Refunds will be made where a place is cancelled more than 7 days in advance of the workshop.
Where workshops are cancelled with less than 7 days notice we are unable to offer a refund but may be able to offer you an alternative workshop or date.
